Welcome to Colorful Calling!

Hello friends!

I am so excited to be here and that you are reading our very first blog post! As Tori & I have began this new journey that God has put on our hearts, we have been overwhelmed with your love and support. I have thought and thought how to approach this first blog… and I am still not entirely sure. This is a new thing for me. I am not the most eloquent writer that uses amazing descriptions so that it pulls the reader in- I am still waiting on God to provide that skill set, lol.

As we have seen the start of this new journey unfold, I felt drawn to Isaiah 43, especially verses 18-21. I think it’s so important that as Christians we look at things God has done in our lives, as this can increase our faith, BUT not to dwell in past defeats, discouragement and sin. Staying stuck in the past can withhold us from the new places God is trying to take us to.
